Now that your home didn’t sell, you might be thinking of how the whole process could have gone differently (besides the obvious of your home should have sold).   You probably knew after just a matter of weeks that the agent was living up to his promises. 

After all where was all of that advertising he promised to deliver?  He said he would send you copies of the ads but they never came.  He promised to do open houses, “every weekend until it sells if that’s what it took” but the only open house you remember him hosting was when you were out of town.

Even though you knew your agent was doing their job, when you reviewed your listing contract you realized that you couldn’t cancel it without penalty!   Your agent might have said “sure you can cancel anytime” but there wasn’t anything in writing that made mention of it.
