When Those Agents Are Calling, You Now Have Questions To Ask Them

Dear North Shore Home Owner,

Your phone has probably been ringing everyday with real estate agents telling you what went wrong with your home being listed or how they can make sure this doesn’t happen again, but very few of them have any new ideas.

Most agents are counting on you not asking a single question.  They don’t have the experience in real estate or marketing to hold up to being interviewed and that’s why I encourage you to ask them questions to see who can hold up to the test!

Below are 11 questions that I would encourage you to ask (I actually have a total of 23 that I would recommend you ask any agent you let in your home).

  1. Do you work as a full-time Realtor®?

  2. How many potential buyers and sellers do you talk within a week? A month? Of those you speak with, how many actually contact you as opposed to cold calling?

  3. How many buyers are you currently working with?

  4. In what ways will you encourage other Realtors® to show and sell my home?

  5. What can you tell me about the real estate market in this area?

  6. What price do you recommend for my home, and what is it based on?

  7. What are your average days on market?

  8. What is your list to sales price ratio?

  9. What kind of advertising do you do?   May I see some samples?

  10. How often will my home be advertised, and where?

  11. How do you attract buyers from outside the local area?

If a listing agent can’t hold up to just these simple 11 questions then politely ask them to leave and you will have saved yourself the hassle and pain of listing with the wrong agent.

Should you want the other 12 questions to ask, please call me today at (847) 869-2568 and I will be happy to give them to you.  I can actually even drop off my complete pre-listing packet which includes my 23 questions to ask any listing agent along with my Easy Exit Listing and complete marketing plan.
